The meeting at the Municipal Council reviewed progress in anticipation of the upcoming 4th International Participants Meeting
Today, the Institutional Expo Committee members for Bologna’s participation in Expo Shanghai 2010 met at the Municipal Council. The meeting provided a progress report on the technical organization and preparation of Bologna’s booth. It was attended by Flavio Delbono, Mayor of Bologna and the Expo Committee Chairman, Beatrice Draghetti, President of the Province of Bologna, Bruno Filetti, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Duccio Campagnoli, Regional Councillor for Production activities, Federico Minoli, Managing Director of BolognaFiere and Giuseppina Gualtieri, General Manager of PromoBologna and case-coordinator.
The meeting was organized in view of the 4thInternational Participants Meeting to be held in Shanghai on 23-24 September. This event will be open to the exhibitors’ technical representatives (to date more than 200 exhibitors have signed up, including countries, international organizations and cities). The event will also provide an opportunity to see progress on Pavillion B3-2, site of Bologna’s 400 m2 booth. Once the planning phase is completed in October-November, work will begin on the content and promotion of the stand. BolognaFiere will be in charge of the on-site technical and operational aspects of setting up the booth.
